Today I would like to take the time to honor Thurgood Marshall. Thurgood Marshall, an African American man, was an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Marshall's most famous case was Brown vs. Board of Education, a case that desegregated public schools.
"None of is got where we are solely by pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps. We got here because somebody -a parent, a teacher, an Ivy Leauge crony or a few nuns- bent down and helped us pick our boots." -Thurgood Marshall
If I shall die before they wake, I pray the Lord my shades are safe.
