Today I would like to take the time to honor Little Rock Nine. Little Rock Nine, a group of a African American students, were enrolled in Little Rock Central High School I'm 1957. Which led to the Lock Rock Crisis in which Africa American students were prevented from entering White racially segregated schools. Eventually they forced desegregation.
"They uses to call Arkansaa 'the land if opportunity,' and black people said, 'opportunity for whom! Today, we can say 'opportunity for all,' and Arkansas can be proud of this moment." -Ernest Green, memeber of Little Rock Nine.
If I shall die before they wake, I pray the Lord my shades are safe.
